Isle of Man Post Office is working to set the standard for sustainable parcel delivery on the Island.
We believe we are the Isle of Man's most sustainable first and last mile parcel operator, and we are continuing to invest in cleaner vehicles, smarter routes and renewable infrastructure to reduce the environmental impact of moving parcels, letters and goods to, from and around the Isle of Man.
Sustainability is part of our long-term approach to providing dependable services, supporting the Manx economy, and building a more resilient future for customers, communities, and businesses.
As a public body, we support the Isle of Man Government's ambition to achieve net-zero carbon emissions by 2050, including interim targets of a 35% reduction in net emissions by 2030 and 45% by 2035. Through our Journey to Net Zero programme, we aim to meet and, where practical, exceed relevant Government targets.

Investing in renewable energy at Postal Headquarters
A 521 solar panel array has been installed at Postal Headquarters as part of a wider investment programme incorporating battery systems and electric vehicle charging infrastructure.
This investment allows us to generate renewable electricity on site, improve how energy is managed across Postal Headquarters, and support our longer-term transition away from fossil fuels.

Scope 1 covers direct emissions from sources owned or controlled by Isle of Man Post Office.
Diesel emissions reduced by 21.48% between 2022/23 and 2024/25.
